Natasha López is a contemporary classical music singer, who is specialized in the interpretation of mystique concrète, contemporary Classical Latin American music and microtonal music.
Currently she performs at improvisations, performances and premiere of concerts, operas and contemporary musical festivals, among others at the 2nd Stuttgart Festival of Contemporary and Experimental Music, at the 47. International Summer Courses for Contemporary Music Darmstadt, at the Summer Courses of the Stockhausen Foundation, Festival Mixtur (Barcelona, Spain), at the first contemporary music festival Festival Novalis – Art + Music (Croatia), at the Festival Lachenmann PERSPEKTIVEN, at the 56. Venice Biennial, at TonArt Esslingen Festival, at Sampler Series at L’Auditori in Barcelona and at the 3. International Music Festival Hamburg.
She has sung in various theaters and opera houses (Stuttgarter Oper, Landestheater Eisenach, Goethe-Theater Bad Lauchstädt, E-Werk Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar) and has worked with orchestra, choir directors and directors such as Giuliano Carella, Carlos Domínguez-Nieto, Wolfgang Katschner, Makedony Kiselev, Johannes Knecht, Giancarlo de Lorenzo, Joan Pagès, Yuri Vasiljev, Lucas Vis and Karsten Wiegand.
Natasha works with composers like Helmut Lachenmann, Stefan Prins, Bernard Stäbler, Michael Maierhof, Ramón Gorigoitia, Klaus Lang, Koka Nikoladze, Malte Giesen. She performs regularly at concerts with her TRIO vis-à-vis (founder and soprano of the trio), Ensemble Forum Neue Vokalmusik and Ensemble Iberoamericano. In 2012 she took part in the recording of the CD Winnipeg by the record label GENUIN with the Ensemble Iberoamericano.
